Remove all trash, debris, or unsecured material from roof and dispose of properly.
Clean out all drains and gutters.
Where applicable, examine strainers in drains and/or screens over gutters.
If downspouts have heaters, test operation and correct deficiencies.
Test drains and/or downspouts by flushing with water.
Inspect gutters for adequate anchors, tighten if necessary.
Remove plant life that is growing on the roof gutters, following approved methods.  Do not allow roots to penetrate roof.
Clean surrounding area, record results and findings and report any needed repairs or operational adjustments.

Use care when working at high places.
Use safety line with belt if necessary.

Ladder.  Check ladder for defects. Do not use defective ladders.
